The cardioid polar pattern suppresses feedback and isolates the desired sound. It also includes 200Hz low cut and mid-high frequency boost switches, which can improve the sound clarity and presence. Dynamic microphones also record vocals very well, with a bit more of an intimate close up sound. A nice change from the typical large diaphragm condensers usually used. Microphones similar in design have also become the latest rage for live vocal microphones. MV-3 definitely looks the part.
MV-3 is made of a durable metal alloy, increasing durability. This coupled with a proprietary anti-shock device virtually eliminates all mechanical vibration and hand-held noise An integrated windscreen/pop filter is placed outside the grill, effectively filtering out peak noises.
