The Godin Motif takes its compact dimensions from turn-of-the-century parlor guitars. The compact body of the Motif suggests a ¾ size instrument but this is a full-scale guitar. The LH3 pickups (wound in our shop in Chicago) and onboard preamp are the same components you’ll find in our legendary USA Series 55-94. Ashdown Engineering OR-110 150W 1×10″ Lightweight Bass Cabinet
The OR-110 is a front-ported lightweight 8 Ohm 1 x 10″ bass cabinet with a custom designed Ashdown speaker. Demand of small body acoustic guitars never seems to slow. They’re great for travel, hitting the beach or lazing around the house. With a few tweaks and careful design, you can make small body guitars sound fantastic and much louder and balanced than one may think.
The LJ2 is a fantastic ‘Little Jumbo’ with great projection and balance. It’s made with high-grade solid Sitka top and is carefully designed to get the best from its small body while staying clear and balanced. Many smallbodied guitars will have a ‘tubby’ or ‘muddy’ voicing. We’ve managed to give the voice clarity, balance and volume, making it a really fun instrument to play.
