As a dynamic microphone, the MV-3 is especially suited for broadcasting, webcasting and recording. It has a smooth and wide frequency response, and the pickup is clear and delicate. The cardioid polar pattern suppresses feedback and isolates the desired sound. It also includes 200Hz low cut and mid-high frequency boost switches, which can improve the sound clarity and presence. Dynamic microphones also record vocals very well, with a bit more of an intimate close up sound. A nice change from the typical large diaphragm condensers usually used. Microphones similar in design have also become the latest rage for live vocal microphones. MV-3 definitely looks the part.
MV-3 is made of a durable metal alloy, increasing durability. This coupled with a proprietary anti-shock device virtually eliminates all mechanical vibration and hand-held noise An integrated windscreen/pop filter is placed outside the grill, effectively filtering out peak noises.
