As a dynamic microphone, the MV-3 is especially suited for broadcasting, webcasting and recording. It has a smooth and wide frequency response, and the pickup is clear and delicate. The cardioid polar pattern suppresses feedback and isolates the desired sound. It also includes 200Hz low cut and mid-high frequency boost switches, which can improve the sound clarity and presence. Dynamic microphones also record vocals very well, with a bit more of an intimate close up sound. A nice change from the typical large diaphragm condensers usually used.
