Ashdown Engineering ORIGINAL-HD-1 OriginAL 300-Watt Lightweight Bass Amp Head
The OriginAL clinches the key fundamentals of everything that makes a great bass amp. This lightweight, portable and stripped back bass amp head takes Ashdown back to the origin of their Tone. Starting from the top, a passive/active switch determines the whether the amp is being used with a high or low output instrument and sets a clear signal path to the input control. From here, the player can fine-tune their input level using Ashdown’s trademark VU meter, which takes pride of place at the very centre of the amp head.

Now in its second evolution is the RM-500. The 500-watt power section of the RM500 EVO has been developed to maintain a deep low end, defined mids and transient highs delivering its output into a 4-ohm load. Ashdown Rootmaster heads are the perfect choice for working bassists looking for power and features without the weight. The Rootmaster EVO series’ pre amp now includes a passive and active input jack socket for use with high and low output instruments, this sets a clear signal path to the input control enabling you to fine tune your input level using the trademark Ashdown VU meter. With the signal at its optimal level, you then hit the rich features designed enhance your tone, such as the shape button, 5-band EQ and on-board compressor. The drive control, as always delivers a delectable valve emulated over-drive, whilst the sub harmonic controls add further fatness to your tone – both can be foot-switched via an FS 2 footswitch (sold separately). Supro 1808 Blues King 8 1-Watt 1×8″ Tube Combo Guitar Amp
The Supro 1808 Blues King 8 is a modern rendition of the low-wattage Supro amplifiers that were produced in Chicago during the mid 1950s.
Every element of the Blues King 8 amplifier was developed from scratch to deliver the legendary headroom and dynamics that define the vintage Supro sound. This timeless tonal recipe includes a genuine Class-A all-tube signal path, custom 8″ speaker and vintage-style wood cabinetry.
When your guitar signal hits the front end of the Blues King 8, it goes directly into a 12AX7 tube preamp, where the audio is gained up and sent to a 12AU7 triode power amp that is capable of delivering a whopping 1 watt of pure American guitar tone. The Blues King 8 stays true to the Supro legacy by faithfully delivering a broad palette of clean and dirty tones for professional recording and home practice environments. Simply put, this little amp produces an enormous studio sound when placed in front of a microphone.
The front panel of the Blues King 8 offers Volume, Tone and Master Volume controls, along with a footswitchable Boost function that adjusts the gain of the tube preamp. The Blues King 8 also features a Line Output that allows this combo amp to double as an outboard tube distortion unit feeding another amplifier or DAW. The Line Output in the Blues King 8 is conveniently located before the Master Volume, allowing you to crank the preamp gain while blending in the sound of the on-board 8″ speaker to taste.
The vintage-inspired poplar cabinetry is based on the mid-50’s Spectator model and comes loaded with a BK8 speaker. This custom-made, 8″ driver was specifically designed to capture the magic of the original field-coil speakers used by amp makers at the dawn of the electric age.

Solid bass performance
The RB1 is a super compact bass combo housing a custom designed 8″ driver but don’t let that fool you – it delivers a punchy 15 watts RMS of solid bass tone. The preamp features a powerful three band EQ, an on-board compressor and an internal limiter along with a MINI jack headphone socket and MINI input jack allowing connection of a media player to jam along with your favourite tracks. The Laney Ironheart IRT120H is a thoroughly modern tube head capable of full on metal tones but offers you far more than other metal oriented amps. It’s loaded with four premium TAD 6L6 loaded tubes. The feature packed preamp is laid out logically and features three distinct channels (Clean, Rhythm and Lead). Each channel features passive 3-band EQ with push pull options for Deep, mid shift and treble shift which allows you to dial in the exact tone you are after. The master section features an overall Dynamics control which allows you to vary the interaction of the amp the drivers. Depending on the volume, an overall Tone control, a Laney custom Digital Reverb and a Watts feature allow you to dial the out put of the amp back to a whisper without destroying your tone.
One of the coolest features of the IRT120H is a switchable Pre-Boost facility which functions just like kicking in your favorite boost pedal in front of your amp. This gives your playing more dynamics and feel. The rear panel of the unit features everything you need to connect your outboard gear, a variable level FX loop, a variety of extension speaker sockets and the supplied FS4-IRT footswitch connection socket.
